10 Hour Round Trip Turns Masterpice
There are days that etch themselves in memory, not just for the work done but for the adventure they encompass. For us at So–Ripe Studios, one such day was our whirlwind journey to New York and back, (a trip we find ourselves taking often), all in the pursuit of perfect shots for the Millyz music video for 'STRANGERS.' Set against the backdrop of an opulent mansion, this was a day where creativity, technology, and star power collided to create something truly spectacular.
Our PRODUCTION team, part of the ripe–tanjerines. collective, embarked on this adventure with a sense of purpose and excitement. Our destination? A STUNNING mansion in New York, the kind of place that breathes life into a music video with its sheer grandeur and elegance. The mansion’s sprawling gardens and luxurious interiors were the perfect canvas for our vision.
The star of our technical ensemble for this shoot was the Sony FX3 camera paired with G Master lenses. This CAMERA isn't just another piece of equipment; it's a storyteller's dream. Renowned for its use in the Netflix movie "The Creator," the FX3 has garnered accolades for its incredible color science and low-light capabilities. As we set up our shots, framing each scene with precision, we could sense the magic that this camera was weaving. The colors popped in a way that only the FX3 could render, capturing every nuance of the opulent setting and the dynamism of Millyz's performance.
Adding a layer of allure to the video were the Clermont Twins, Shannon and Shannade, known for their striking presence and unique sense of style. Rising to prominence with their appearance on the reality TV show 'Bad Girls Club,' and later making waves in the fashion world, the Clermont Twins have become icons in their own right. Their participation in the video added a touch of glamour and sophistication, perfectly complementing the luxurious backdrop of the mansion.
As the day progressed, our excitement only grew. Every frame we shot brought Millyz's vision closer to reality. From the meticulously planned indoor scenes to the impromptu outdoor shots that captured the spontaneity of the moment, every second was a testament to the team's dedication and the power of collaboration.
Driving back to Massachusetts after a long day's shoot, we reflected on the experience. It was more than just a music video shoot; it was a celebration of art, a testament to the power of cutting-edge technology in the hands of creative minds, and a story of a team that went the extra mile—quite literally.
The final product is not just a music video; it's a piece of art that showcases the best of Millyz, the allure of the Clermont Twins, and the technical prowess of So-Ripe Studios. It’s a project that we are immensely proud of, a perfect blend of talent, technology, and sheer determination.
